92 THE WOODENTOPS, Bristol Bierkeller, Thursday 4 February 1988
Drove down and met PG and his work colleague "Radio H" at the gig. The support band were unnamed and innocuous; The Woodentops as usual were breathless, kinetic and sweaty, premièring material from new LP "Wooden Foot Cops On The Highway" but as usual playing their manic punkabilly rock loud and fast. All in all, a tremendous performance!

this was a fantastic gig, even better than 1987 at the same venue.
